Droenn - A few things went wrong last year, the organisers definitely learned (and noted the comments on thehub) and are working hard to ensure things go smoothly this year. I have every reason to believe this year's thread will make for better reading..

I wasn't involved last year, also rode. One thing I recall they got right last year was the timing of the short / long distance starts so that the long route front bunches didn't catch all the slow okes from the short route on Adderley, which was a big complaint on the 2013 thread - so slowly the organisers are catching on... Not sure but I think they have medals again this year, people like them medals..
