'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Leaders caught Movistar driving the pace with one of their domestique ahead of the Skyborgs Landa sits upPoels has a mechanical Meanwhile, Majka is about to be swept up too
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Pinot way back Pedaling squares Lots of bottle showers going on and ice packs tucked down backs
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 ... And tomorrow is the toughest day in the Pyrenees ????
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 It is apparent that Sky and Movistar are the strongest teams in the race. They're the ones dictating and it bodes well for Quintana and Froome, while the other GC favourites just have to sit tight in this group. Aru has a couple of Astana teammates with him, staying quiet behind Sky.
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Froome Dawg looking uncomfortable Quintana stoic as ever Yates, virtual yellow, still in the bunch 37 kms to go and 1.6 to the summit of this penultimate climb
HappyMartin Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Sky setting a fast pace. Main Cheese still there. Contador looking pretty good at this point.
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 ???????????? Kelderman loses his front wheel on a hairpin bendLooks all right Skyborgs continue to head the race
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Earlier... Majka tried to come through to take the KOM points at the top of the climb, but Froome and Poels blocked the way and accelerate to prevent the Pole. Majka's not too happy with that.
Gen Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Earlier... Majka tried to come through to take the KOM points at the top of the climb, but Froome and Poels blocked the way and accelerate to prevent the Pole. Majka's not too happy with that.Sky are doing a good job of making enemies (first the sprint teams and now the GC teams).. one day Froome may need friends maybe not the smartest move.
Gen Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Abandonment by Morkov ????Got to feel for him, he has been fighting to survive since the crash on stage 1
HappyMartin Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Nice to see Contador standing again. He definately looks a little more comfortable.
'Dale Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Here we go then. Time for the Col de Peyresourde - 7.1km at 7.8% Don't blink ????
