Sprained thumb - what to do?

Nope, just a pringled thumb

That's good - take it easy for a while and heal up - going to have to be patient and let it heal - it's a slow process.

Thanks for the encouragement and advise V12man, maybe this is a sign that I need to stay away from the technical stuff as I approach 50. This has been my third notable fall this year. Time will tell.

You should do some skills course - that will help for sure - search for a thread on Peaches skills training here and on facebook - he is my go to guy for learning to ride #enduro over 50... not to say I have not collected a few scars along the way so far.... :)

Your scars are from "Tuck n Roll". Flat falling breaks bones

Surgery apparently went well but the trauma to the ligament was more extensive than originally expected so I've  also ended up with a pin in there. I'll get to see the pics on Tuesday during consult with Doc. Time to dust off the running shoes :thumbdown:

I wish you a speedy recovery, Albatross. Be patient!
