Packing some clothes last night left me wanting to ask here...

to Wayne and Noli, have the wives found some nice places to shop for clothes....work stuff in particular - I need (not want).

Loads of shopping down Queen Street. Or closer to home, there's some options at Sylvia Park, or Dressmart in Onehunga (an outlet mall).

Hayley, there are some decent shops (Sylvia Park has lots) and you will recognize some of the brands (Cotton On etc), but pricing is anywhere between 150-300% compared to SA.

Meg only starts work in July but we just got word that our container has not even left JHB yet which means most of her work clothes won't get here in time. Maybe she will have to take you shopping. ????

Youve just made my wife really happy.

She quite likes forever new. They have a pretty big shop in sylvia park .

She starts a new job on monday and has recently upgraded her einter work wardrobe.

I see a "girls day" coming soon. Noli....if mrs noli is keen...let me know.

Just a warning....I am not BIG on shopping, but I would really need to go. And maybe tips from lady ladies will be good for a change (because I dont really fall in that category) and your wife always looks beautiful (she is going to judge my lack of style and hate for make up I just know...hahaha)

Nah...shes not a fan of makeup or fancy clothes outside of work.

Most of our shopping takes place at Kathmandu and Macpac. They are camping stores.

Outdoor gear doesnt need ironing and dries pretty quick.

Kathmandu...

You bloody rich Aucklanders! hahahaha!

I walked into the Kathmandu at an outlet mall here. $350 - $600 for jackets

Wait ten minutes and they will be on sale, don't worry.

Some of those were the sale prices, hahaha!

Yep. First rule of NZ shopping - never buy anything unless its on sale.

Oh yeah, I learnt that one very quickly.

$600 for a decent microwave.

$500 for a vacuum cleaner.

Crazy prices!

Good old Briscoes came through at 60% off on each!

My Mrs like the good stuff, but won't pay for it, so she is pretty good at finding the cheaper more generic stuff...unless it's sporting gear - then it's top drawer all the way!

I should be fine. I try make a habit of not stopping to pick up 14yr old girls, hahaha!

Plus German cars in NZ are what French cars are to SA. No one wants to steal them because they can't afford to fix them, hahaha!
