Wide lightning 27.5 rims are 365 gr

They are not heavy

They are very stiff

Can't tell how hard they are to ding as I have only ever dinged one rim in 24years of mountain biking

The hubs have also improved leaps and bounds over the last few years to the point where they are good as Hope.

You still need to use the supplied disc rotor stiffeners if you run disc rotors that don't have a central hub around the mounting bolt circle.

That is BLOODY light. Wish they were available as a rim only option.

Many a distributor is working on that.

But there is a new Am/xc rim option coming.

It's a bit heavier at around 420gr but strong enough for 28h build for xc. It's wider though.

The xc option as rim only is the disc 101.

Sadly, anything less than 32h folds as soon as I think of it.

Is it coming in 32h? And how wide? 40g per is hardly a penalty

any idea of ETA?

Wider than WL you say? Rim only? Hmmmmmmmm

2016.

The new stuff is not up yet. New WL for RS-1 also coming soon.

Sorry made mistake in earlier post. Disc 101 is 25mm wide on the outside 21 inside

Tubeless MTB race is 28mm wide outside
