bianchi c2c range, i have one and its super comfy, fork has kevlar inserts designed to absorb force from bumpy roads and geometry is relaxed. would definately recommend it.

I'm 100kg+ and recently acquired a Cannondale SuperSix Evo 56cm (old frame cracked so all components built over onto this). Incredibly comfortable and relaxed ride. I think it has a lot to do with the traditional geometry (56x56) and no curved top tube. Also run 25mm Specialised Roubaix tyres that I normally pump to 8bar. It seems that it has a degree of built in flex that has taken a lot of the rumble out of my ride and I have found a noticeable difference when going over the rough stuff. A friend of mine recently acquired a Trek Emonda and said very much the same.

Of course, proper bike fit is also a massive factor. If going for one make sure that the fitter understands that you value comfort over speed.

It is worth while shopping around a little and looking for something that you'd prefer to be on. Do not take it at face value. Insist on a test ride and look for some rough stuff to ride over and see how much of that you feel and how much the frame will absorb.

Good luck.

+1 on this! I have a 2016 Cannondale super 6 evo and the ride and comfort is amazing! I don't have mine slammed, the bars are as high as the fork will allow but man does this thing feel smooth on the road. I'm running the standard 25mm Mavic tires that came with the bike. Overall I'm very impressed with the ride comfort. I came from a Giant TCR.

This is a classic bias "my brand is the most comfortable" kinda thread. It's actually quite hilarious.

What's comfy for one will not necessarily be for another.

Get 25mm or 28mm tyres and pick the bike YOU like.

How many have you owned?

. I am on my sixth.... Had some great progression. Peugeot, Gary Allen and a Giant in the 90's, and then another Giant (Defy), and a Specialized Allez, then the Roubaix over the past 10 years.

Anyone had any experience with the Trek Domane? Also looking for a cushy ride and have been told this bike is tops.

Google "sportive bike test" and you will find huge write ups on the pro's and con's of all the comfy bikes - BMC, Cannondale, Giant etc etc.

There seems to have been an initial push to be as cushy as possible and then a move slightly back towards more race geometry, that is slightly less comfy but with better handling

Talk to RyanPMB about the Planet X Kaffenbak.

I ride one on the road and it is awesome.

Not the lightest, but it feels epic and suuuuper comfy.

Disk brakes with mtb spacing so you can slap 25c tires on your 29er rims and boom....

The frame and fork are about 5k I think...
