sawystertrance Posted November 26, 2015 Share I will be in Tulbagh over Christmas. Any hubbers know of any MTB trails or routes there? Cheers. BrandonF_

Gerry Hattrick Posted November 26, 2015 Share There are lots of new trails that locals have developed in the hills around the town over the past few years. Also, the Witzenberg Valley is a short drive away (or a long trek up the old wagon trail) and has some amazing trails. Maybe the local tourism guys can put you in touch with somebody who knows the best ones sawystertrance

sawystertrance Posted November 27, 2015 Share The point of asking the question here was to find out if any hubber had firsthand knowledge of trails. It's a resource and community, unlike Google
Jbr Posted October 6, 2019 Share Trying to get more info about Tulbagh in 2019, can't find much since 2015 on this forum ? Anyone can tell me if it's worth bringing the enduro bike or should I rather take the XC bike ?
Jbr Posted October 6, 2019 Share I have found videos from rideratereviews from Eselfontein + the Wagon Trail on Witzenberg Mountain that seem interesting... might still take the XC bike coz it's still a 60+ km ride (for Eselfontein black route) I'll skip the ezel enduro trails for now, they look super hectic Edited October 7, 2019 by Jbr
