Re-thread of pedal hole in crank arm

Hi All,

 

Does anyone know where I can re-thread the pedal hole of my crank arm in Cape Town? I stuffed up the thread and I can't just replace the arm as this is my stages power meter.

Just asked a buddy to contact you. He had the same issue and sorted it out no problem.

Basically go to an engineering place, have them weld up the hole and re-tap a thread

Go to Link Engineering, near to BMC.

 

They insert a helicoil, was not more than R200.

Crank still solid!

Yip just get a helicoil fitted. Time sert will work too. Don't weld it!
