SuperStokedCycles Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Hi all...we are a new bike shop in the Brackenhurst suburb of Alberton!Initially we wanted to open only in the new year, but after a steady stream of curious cyclists started rocking up at our doors, we decided to open for business! And as our name say's, we are catering for people who are "stoked 2 ride"...people who love pedalling trails, road's, track's or the daily commute. We are here for you! We are located at 11 Hennie Alberts Street, a mere 200metres away from one of the busiest road cycling routes in the country, and a mere 2km from Rietvlei Trails. We are a brand new store, and will be stocking different lines to the other stores in the area. We are a small, owner managed and run store, with a fully equipped Park Tools workshop. So come test us out! Open weekdays from 8am till 5pm...and Saturday and Sunday from 9am till 2pm. We are very excited to be representing PYGA in the south of JHB! We love the ethos and drive behind PYGA, and hope to do Patrick Morewood proud! Keep your eyes peeled on the BikeHub for our PYGA demo days at the local trails. Pinarello...let's be honest, they need no introduction! Italy's Tour De France conquering bike can be found within our store, and we will be carrying all models...not just F8's! We also carry these brands, Sidi, Campagnolo, BioRacer, fi'zi:k Bars, stems, shoes, tape and saddles (and the Spine Concept system), ESI Grips, Vredestein, Rav-X, Kask, Rudy Project, HIGH5 nutrition, SRAM, VDO and so much more... We also have a nice Retro/Old school collection, and would love to see yours. We will be doing a Retro "STOKED 2 RIDE STEEL" ride from the shop sometime in the new year, so get those old steel beauties ready! Super Stoked Cycles are proud to be offering a bike set-up service. We have digital set-up technology, and a trained eye...so if you are looking to tweak your current set-up, or are tired of your knee's rubbing your ears, pull in for a set up and enjoy your riding that much more! (We also have the LOOK digital pedal analysers, so if you only require a cleat set-up, we can assist!) Please join us for Saturday and Sunday road rides @ 06H45 so that we can get to the local meeting spot with enough time to spare! Cars are safe within our gated car park...and then after the ride back to the shop for a free cuppa coffee where we can sit and discuss the latest in cycling news, or how hard the morning ride was! (Yes, you read that right, NO CHARGE for the coffee!)MTB rides will also be from the shop in the new year...watch this space!There will also be a "Stoked 2 ride Suikerbosrand" ride in the new year in preparation for Argus, where we will make sure we have an awesome ride with a following car full of ice cold beverages! (no charge on labour, only on parts, no limit to amount of servicing)

As for rides, I currently ride the 40km loop with the guys, but would prefer a more sedate pace.As for the MTB rides, again I prefer the more relaxed pace where we can enjoy the trails.But the plan is to have a safe start point, & a relaxed chill spot for afterwards.
