If you're riding a road bike while using a camelbak you will be eaten alive by the roadies. Apparently there is a code or something.

It's called 'The Rules'. In this case Rule 32 applies, the only exception is for a mountain bike ride.

You must have an amazing keyboard if you want to claim from insurance for it ;)

Haha well it's built into my Mac, so yeah.... New keyboard = new PC :D

Oh well it doesn't matter if it's a Mac then, to IT those don't even count as real machines ;)

Haha we will go to war arguing over this [emoji23] my Mac has completed my life [emoji7]

Wrong, cycling will complete your life.

Well, Lurch, I think it it is safe to say that you are correct.

I am officially obsessing over cycling, so much so that yesterday, after my ride and while driving to work, I was thinking so much about the bike, and planning a longer route for the weekend, that I missed my turnoff and landed up about a bazillion miles away from where I was meant to be

I even stopped mid-ride yesterday to snap a (significantly cheesy) photo (read "silhouettes & sunrise"), which has since been plastered on Social Media and become my Whatsapp profile picture. Yep, I just became that person

I am amazed it took you so long to come to the conclusion that I am always right ;)

Post the picture here (as in here in this thread) and here that you are bragging about ;)

I have difficulties in accepting that others may have opinions which hold value... ;)

I'd gladly share my (borderline hipster) pic, except that for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to upload it??

You will learn my opinions are even more important than your own ;)

If you're posting from a pc (or that terrible Mac) copy the image to the machine and click on More Reply Options, you'll have the option to attach files then.

Alternatively, you could just copy the URL from one of the social media links and use the little image icon at the top of where you post - but the down side to that is people could possibly learn more about who you are than you would want.

Hahahaha brilliant reading - you, sir, owe me a new keyboard (given that it is now covered in a tasty hot beverage which escaped during a heartfelt laugh) [emoji38] [emoji38]

Hmmm ok we'll see about that. I do enjoy a challenge, but I have set myself a number of hectic sports related challenges for this and next year already... But if I reach the point where I have more faith in my cycling ability, I promise to revisit this proposal! (Big numbers are scary when you've only been an bike twice!)

You need no more than 6 months. You have 7 hours to do 108km. Its really a nice comfy pace to finish.
