No more local agents so not sure what you could do.

Whats wrong, maybe somebody can help?

Info gets lost ( top speed , ave speed , etc ) , alt metre not accurate by far , sometimes does not register anything . Cadence metre never worked . Haven't even tried the HR thingy.

Have you tried factory reset?

As far as i know there isn't a "supplier" as of yet in the country. The old guys (bb trading) as far as i know does not support them anymore. I have the 35 for years now, no issues. Got a 50 a year or so ago and also no issues. (only issue i have its not a garmin  )

I "had" the same issue, while I had it, no operational issues.

Yeah the 35 was a brilliant little unit. Only sold mine because my wife wanted to live track my rides when we first moved to Cape Town.

Try a factory reset, it should sort out any issues.

No no, a factory reset is something you do yourself.

Don't panic just because the local support is gone. It's still a great unit and you won't have much reason to upgrade if you're not looking for any additional functions.

Google will always be your friend and their international site is quite good. That link I got off of google after literally 30 seconds of searching.

Good luck mate!

Just drop the international site on Facebook a msg or an email. I've had awesome service from them my be they can suggest the correct info. Have you updated the firmware recently?

I'm actually thinking of dropping back from my Rider 50. No issues at all and it's going strong but I just don't need maps and all the rest. Seen some 35's and 40's going for peanuts.
