Wannabe Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 But people will today and tomorrow during the day.Chances are VA would have woken up to that fact on Saturday and have access control.But let's see what happens, there is that parking area just opposite the VA entrance we could also use.
Dazshell Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 As has become the custom over the last few years, who will be interested in the annual "shake down" run from the Railway Station / Green Point Virgin Active to the top of Suikerbossie and back. Coffee stop in Kampsbay or Greenpoint.Not too early start, relaxed pace, lots of chatting and bantering. Show of hands to decide if it's worth me driving in from the other side of the Boerewors Curtain. There will be about 50 East Coast Cycling members from Durban riding from McDonalds in Green Point to top of Suikerbossie at 7:00am. Annual tradition.

Hairy Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 saw a whole lot of bike boxes (about 5.6 trucks) being off loaded at the stadium yesterday morning ..... so if you are worried if your bike has arrived it CT, it might well have been one of those.

Change of plan, to avoid traffic I'm going to be cycling in from a friends house. Will be in red SOVIET kit on a white roadie, white helmet. Hope to see a few guys there.

I got to VA at 07:00 then waited till 07:15ish.There were bigger groups leaving so I wasn't sure if you were in one of those groups.Decided to go for a solo/forced group ride.Next time we plan to meet up for a ride I'll message you my number.
