Advice Needed On Next Upgrade (Swift/Silverback/Giant)

So its time for an upgrade, was dead set on the Shimano 105 Giant Propel but then I came across these options which seems to be better equipped for almost exactly what I'm about to spend on the Giant.

Silverback Scalera 2 - Ultegra 11spd with Carbon handle bars and Seat Post Est. 7.8kgs

Swiftcarbon Ultravox RS1 - 105 11spd with Ritchy Bars, stems and post

With the exception of the Frame the Giant doesn't come t with much mouth watering bells and whistles but for some reason I feel its a trusted brand/bike.

Can anyone speak for the Silverback and Swiftcarbon

The silverback is rad but that swift is amazing .

And the giant is the one I'd choose. That Propel frame is beautiful. And it's a giant.

Between the Swift and the Silverback though, SWIFT for sure.

Yes that Giant is a ridiculously sexy frame, my main concern is with the wheels set... They seem cheap for its price I would have imagined that you at least get some OKish wheels.

Which is why I'm surprised that silverback managed to fit such high spec group set, finishing and fulcrum wheels on their bike, sort of begs the question: Where did they comprise to get that price.

The Swift 105 has ritchey alloy finishing...

Silverback Is always great value for money

With ultegra group set and wheels alone, I'm feeling very very very tempted to make a move on this bike...

Definitely recommend the swift. I love my ultravox. They have some amazing deals at the moment.

Yep spoke to them this afternoon, they really through a spanner in the works with my Giant plans when they gave me the prices of their bikes, when did they become so "affordable". I always thought Swift bikes were ridiculously priced

Giant - but I am biased... partly because I have not had any issues with mine.

between the swift and the silverback... the swift... feels more boutique or drool worthy.

But I would still rather have the Giant for my own peace of mind.

2c added.

Haha drool worthy! I like that....

I will check with the guys to see what it would cost to upgrade to Carbon finishing on the RS1 so that it feels more like the Silverback in terms of value for money.

For us regular folk 30k is a mountain of cash to spend on some plastic with 2 wheels, lol so I feel  "entitled" to get many shiny things with the my new bike without having to fork out a 2nd mountain.

I have the Ti. Very stiff with a race geometry. No harsher than any other race bike.

 thanks, the TI is a bit rich for me  ^_^ and probably miles apart from the RS1 in terms of feel.

Will see if swift will let me take the RS1 for spin before purchasing it, at this point I think swift seems more enticing

The guys at Swift will give you a demo bike to try. Tell them I sent you  ;) .

I won Sub Vet and A in the Cycle Tour on the UltraVox yesterday, so let that be a recommendation as to which is the best bike.
