Also have a few questions on this - the 27km female winner's name also on 63km DNF list?  Or are there two of them with the same name?  2 x Amanda Simpson on 63km DNF list...

 

Had an incident where our route was wrongly directed (about 2/3 kms into the race), and don't think it was handled brilliantly (with half the field being asked to re-route back while the others were already speeding onward), which left a bit of a sour taste...

 

Other than that, the route was excellent (and tough), will surely be back.

Just some feedback on the short route.  It was great fun until the longer routes joined.  When we got to the 2nd piece of singletrack, we had fast guys coming through scaring the novices and kids.

Every 10 metres or so we were having to ask our kids to pull aside and let the guys through which wasn't fair to the kids.

 

it was frustrating for both the 10km route guys and the guys trying to race for a good time.  I would suggest in future not having the 10km route sharing singletrack with the longer routes.
