Shorter Stem

Looking to go shorter on my standard 70mm stem that came with my Trance. Is this recommended and if so what length, brand, type, etc?

 

Heard this will make a noticeable difference to the handling?

thanks. Just need to decide what length to go to. Probably 50mm I reckon.

Short stem, wide bars. Can't go wrong

I moved down from 90 to 60 (bike shop thought I was crazy going for 50 and wait was longer)

I am super happy atm its nice medium on my bike I bought a ryder one cause it afforded me option of getting even shorter if I need one(Price).

 

Shorter is awesome! (GO for the 50!)

 

Please note the 90 is still in a crate for the long slog comp rides(I avoid them)
