Hi VicanZA,

It's a fair leap. The route is basically 2x200 loops.

I did the last 200. How did you feel after it? If you still had something left in the tank you should be okay. The pace will be slower, and the group will be small, but should stay together.

The CT 400km two weeks ago was hectic! We had pouring rain from 9pm till about 6am the next morning - I'm still trying to get all the muck splashed up from the road out of my socks and rain jacket. Was pretty broken the last 150km - Anyways, enjoy! Hope the weather Gods are kind.

Have you got the GPX file for the route? What group did u guys ride in? Passed and road with a couple different groups on the way back.

Well done! Sounds like a tough one.

Thx, was the hardest one yet and it does not help that we were only 3 guys in the "fast" bunch. Wish there was more wheels to follow.

Will be my first 400km ride, how do you prepare for it?

Some tips from personal experience:

Don't do this on your MTB!!!!!!

Drop wheel pressure to about 7 Bar

Aim to ride slowish, and then slow down

Eat enough

Ride in a group - follow Speedracer

Ride from control point to control point
