Awesome to see how Bob took it to the big names in those closing kilometres. Just went for it, and it paid off handsomely. Riding like an experienced old campaigner, taking control and stamping his authority on the race. Hard to believe he's just 23 years old. Well done, young man.

 

And with Alaphilippe doing his thing in California, the Quick Step stage racers are showing their Classics squad a thing or two about how to win races .

 

Can't believe Trek let him go, yet they kept Frank Schleck.

 

Anyways, from a betting point of view, i took a R15 bet on both Ulissi and Jungles finishing top 10. Early day yet but it could pay off nicely at a rate of 14/1, yielding R225 each. Still early days though.
