Just fitted a new CS400 to replace my 720. Well I thought getting the 720 on and off was a schlep, well let me tell you?..I'm ready to trade it in for PMWink

I have no flipping clue on how to get the CS400 to unclip from the bike mount that was supplied with the unit. Twisting, turning, pushingtwistingandturning and pullingpushingtwistingandturning at the same time does not work.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Is there a hidden eject button somewhere?

Anyone had and solved this problem, please help?

I struggled the first time, but then the second time I got it right and I thought I was doing it wrong the first time.

Push down, and twist to the left.

the eject button only works on a 10% gradient hill riding a 53x11

I took my bike to the pc for the first few times until I got the "push down click left" routine sorted out.

He he now I can relate to that Embarrassed last night i cut the cable ties that hold it onto the stem, as my pc is on the 4th floor its easier to do that than carry the bike up there (bike lives in the cellar).

Will try the push down twist left (is that left looking forwards or backwards?) trick AGAIN tonight.

left looking forward, or else buy a laptop and keep it in the cellar. It will be cheaper than buying cable ties in the long run

I have exactly the same problem with my recently purchased CS400 bike mount.  It sticks so hard that I have to remove the entire mount from my bike to remove the unit.

The secret is not to use it!!!! I have found that my old bike mount from my CS200 fits properly and is easy to remove the unit without a lot of swearing and finger/hand injuries.

Problem found and partially solved...

The plastic computer mount cable ty?s need to be as thick / strong as possible (this is limited by the rather puny cable ty retaining tabs on the computer mount) and the cable ty?s should be tightened as tight as possible (i.e. stop tightening a BH before they break).<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

If not sufficiently tight the twisting (to the left as viewed riding) motion allows the mount to move with the computer, which means the computer cannot unclip.

Kind of like if your pedal moved in the same direction as your foot when clipping out of your pedals ? not as painful or embarrassing though?.
