bike size ?

Hi all,i have just bought a used giant xtc team,the bike frame is 19" ,i am 1.68m tall in seem 68,what factors do i consider with regards to bike size ? i would appreciate some help with this.

bike is to big.  19" giant is for an average 1.77m tall rider

should i be looking in the 14" to 17" range then ?
