JeffD Posted May 27, 2016 Share Howzit, I replaced my heart rate monitor's battery today & now it is not pairing with the console/ computer. Any advice please as I'm doing the Trailseeker tomorrow & JUMA on Sunday so I can't get to the Garmin repair centre on time. Thanks!
Colin Pym Posted May 27, 2016 Share Had a similar experience....remove the battery from the sensor again, and using a paper clip or something short out the terminals in the unit. They retain a charge which buggers you around.
Jameel Posted September 22, 2016 Share Hi I have just replaced the battery on my HR sensor, and I have managed to pair it to the Edge 510 (after a lot of frustration), but now it doesn't send any info to the device. The Edge says that the HR monitor is paired, correct sensor ID, but it is not receiving any data. Any ideas? Thanks
Polo Posted September 22, 2016 Share What Colin said. Short the terminals. I just put the battery in the wrong way around (read it somewhere online) before inserting correctly and that did the trick Spoke101

solo65 Posted September 22, 2016 Share Also make sure your Garmin has the latest software updates. I had a lot of trouble that all went away after an update. Jameel
