New Scalpel-Si in the (damn sexy) flesh

I popped into the Kenilworth Olympic Cycles branch (the Cannondale focused one) this morning ... and stumbled across more than I bargained for: They currently have almost the entire Fleet of new Cannondale Scalpel SI models on the floor. Apparently they have them on loan after the launch purely as display units, so no chance to demo, but it is a very nice opportunity to see what the line-up looks like. Obviously the halo models are crazy expensive, but the mid range Carbon 3 and 4 are very sweet looking bikes for pretty much the usual rondellas that these bikes go for. I was also a little surprised by how nice the top aluminium model is.

 

Apparently they will only be in the shop until Tuesday if you feel like drooling over some bike porn.

That black-on-black bike in the background (below and behind the red Carbon 1) was the most interesting to me - think it is the Carbon 4  and looks a little like the Black Inc. but leaves you with enough left-over cash to buy the Habit SE behind it and take it on a nice 2 week ride in the Alps....plus it comes with the Si cranks and spider ring.
