Berto, even though he is something of a fading force, is still a smart tactician and canny racer. Amazing ride from him! As for Froome, he got but slaughtered today. But this is La Vuelta and it is unpredictable and generally anything can and often does happen. Week 3's GC stages are going to be freaky good!
