Gets the red number too.

There is only 1 Bert. Some may hate him but he is a racer and we love watching him race..

Movistar were really good today.. they got rid of sky so brilliantly, and disrupted the chase all day..

As for Astana.. all that work and Scarponi dropped from 9th to 10th

Emerging to be one of the big team rivalries in the late 20teens ????????

The TT is going to be a big deal I think. Too me looks like Froome should still take 2nd. He TT will help him. Quintana must be feeling a bit more secure with this time gap. Perhaps today he won the Vuelta. We will see.

Contador the man. Deserved win for Brambilla.

Bertie could do a Nibali and make up 4 minutes  :whistling:

And the Chris Froome Appreciation Society wants us to believe that Beefy Berto isn't the best GC rider of his generation! :whistling:

Berto, even though he is something of a fading force, is still a smart tactician and canny racer. Amazing ride from him!

As for Froome, he got but slaughtered today.

Sky got sucker punched. Wouldn't count on it happening again.............................

But this is La Vuelta and it is unpredictable and generally anything can and often does happen. Week 3's GC stages are going to be freaky good!
