Gen Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 The Giro and Vuelta really outperforms the Tour by a long shot.By far
Gen Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 The 3 GT's in a row finally caught up to Valverde.Yip, lost over 10min today..
Cav' Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Yip, lost over 10min today..He's human after all.
Gen Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 These guys must be kaput.. Was waiting for a Froome attack.. but Nada..so they must have been on the limit.
BouncingBrain Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Nairo tried and tried.. I wonder if he wouldn't try riding a hard constant pace to the end? Or is it easier for other riders to stick on then?
dev null Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 What happened to Meintjes.? The Cheese is down to 41st. Lost over 38 minutes today. Either he had a crash, or the TdF and Rio is catching up on him.

Eugene Oppelt Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Must say it was kinda magical to see The Condor, Froome Dawg and El Pistolero rolling right together at some stage
Eugene Oppelt Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Excellent 3 and 4 on the GC grid for OBE That was exceptional implementation of team strategy
Eugene Oppelt Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 What makes Gesink's 1st Grand Tour so special for me: His father died in a bicycle accident in October of 2010. Bad crashes in 2011 and 2012 derailed much of those seasons, and he had to undergo heart surgery in 2014. After finishing sixth in the 2015 Tour de France, he missed this year’s race after suffering a bad concussion at the Tour de Suisse. Bonus Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 We're gong to be at the race tomorrow :-) Sabinanigo is about 40km west of our house. We'll be in Sabinanigo for the sign on etc, then we'll catch them as they pass Sabinanigo a second time after 25 odd km's. They then head east towards Fiscal - which is as close as they get to our house, about 20km from us here. When they head east out of Sabinanigo we will head north to be ready for them somewhere near Biescas. We did think about going straight to the finish and waiting for the day but we've decided we want to see it all more than just once. We're driving to Sabinanigo but taking and MTB each so we can get around a bit or even park outside town and ride in if necessary. Look out for our SA flags - we'll have a big one each. Will try to take some pics but I'm not the worlds best photographer. . . . And take a good note of the roads they're riding - when you guys come visit us for road riding sometime these are all the sort of roads you'll be road riding on!!
