Some saddle advice.

I struggled with this as well - Went to a spez concept store - did the Assometer thingy and went with their recommended saddle - Sorted.

And please don't go the Fizik route. Bending over does in no way measure the width of your ass. Unless there is a doctor behind you with surgical gloves on.

Still can't believe how they con cyclists with this theory  :o

I was always of the opinion that a bit of gel or cushioning in places would alleviate the sit - uation. More often than not, it probably is the case. I then switched to an 85g pure carbon saddle and I haven't felt anything better. I was happy with it from the first ride until the day I crashed. I then got a saddle in the insurance payout that was your standard comfy Gomma Gomma but that was the worst thing ever(for me). That is now sold and I have a pure carbon saddle once again :-)

Fabric Scoop ,Radius or Shallow , Elite or Race.

Obviously have your sit bones measured, but then choose the relevant

Scoop saddle.

Most comfortable saddle I have ever tried.

Saddles are always a personal choice.

I went to a Spez shop to have my diff measured, then I borrowed saddles from friends to test them. The Fizik and selle Italia saddles got booted early, to narrow. And then I borrowed a mates spez henge (the spez shop recommended this and some other saddke) and after spending a weekend on it, I didn't want to give it back. I now have that saddle on both my bikes.

In our riding group we have a good wide range of saddles, from wtb to spez to the EyeTie saddles. Whenever someone wants to test it, we make a plan.

And I reckon you'll know after two long rides back tot back.
