MTB riding in Robertson

I am going to Robertson from this Sat till Tuesday evening .

I will be taking my MTB with .

Any group rides , or contacts for organising a ride or 3 whilst I am there ??

 

I believe the riding there is awesome !!

Hi There. Not to familiar with Robertson but I know there are trails at Van Loveren wine farm. otherwise call Manic Cycles in Worcester and speak to Francois. They always have some rides planned over weekends.

See if you can get hold of Boerklong here on the hub, he lives in the Robertson/Ashton area,I'm sure he'll be able to help.

 

Alternatively theres another Hubber whom I follow on Instagram who lives in Robertson and rides alot. See if you can find 1975jh herd on the hub,haven't seen him post on the hub in a while though.

Hi. I'm in Ashton. Definitely go and ride Van Lovern. Drive there with your car an choose a loop. There is a nice single track on the left hand side of the road towards Ashton as you leave Robertson that you can take to Ashton and back. About 10km there an 10km back. Some parts lead on to the main road but only for a couple of meters then goes back into the single track. It stops at the ROUXVALE board/turn off near Ashton I will recommend you only do the single track on Monday as it is a bit muddy still and it will stick to you bike. You can go to Van Tonder Fietswinkel and speak to Kobus who can point you in a couple of directions.
