SPD Trail shoe gor wider foot

Hi guys

I wear a size 10 shoe and I'm looking for new MTB shoes to use on SPD trail pedals.

However, I see many cycling brands have very narrow shoes.

I also have quite a high foot bridge so my running shoes have a built up innersole.

My current Olympic shoes are falling apart, but more importantly, they make my feet feel like they're breaking off (basically on the outside of my foot, middle of the foot.

I was hoping to maybe fit a pair of FiveTen Kestrels or maybe the Specialized 2FO.

Any other suggestions? (I'm in Cape Town)

Cheers

Agreed most shoes are very narrow would also be keen to hear what brands I should be looking out for to fit my flippers.

The Spez have nice wide toeboxes and are super comfortable. I have my reservations as to their shoe quality though, so won't be buying another pair (the rubber on the sole breaks away in chunks under normal wear and tear, and the velcro strap wire fixings are too thin - cutting the velcro strap after a couple of rides.)
