J∆kk∆ls Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Eat the elephant is all about improving your aerobic endurance. It is a small warm up followed by a steady endurance session. You can try Two Bites as well. Similar work out.
dave303e Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Ok guys any input on this, had a 'power hour' session on the wattbike at gym earlier and am horified on the results which can mean one of two things-A-the bike was not rightB- I have serious problems I don't know about the magnetic friction knob was not 100% and was doing that thing where it unscrews itself, but the real issue was I just couldn't seem to push the watts I usually do.I felt like I was working hard as usual and my heartrate was between zone 4 and 5 average for the hour just under 170bpm but could only manage 150 watt average, 80 odd watts down on the last few weeks. I don't feel sick at all and yesterday I only paddled so legs aren't fatigued, you reckon I can just put it down to faulty machine or should I be nervous?

If a bike isn't functioning properly, don't use it!

Malpiet Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Indeed i think a faulty bike, i train at claremont VA and those bikes are always faulty giving incorrect reading, i can judge this by using my cadence as a proxy on 2 diff bikes and can be frustrating.
