Normally Fanie I would agree with the 'have you searched' option but in this case I think a reminder could be overlooked no?

Awesome i have lost my Garmin once before but luckily it was found!!!! Will for sure add my name to the start up screen.

Thnx fanie, didn't look it up though,but see those posts were all 2013,2014,and 2015 (checked the links you posted). Seeing a lot of people lose their units, maybe they don't bother adding this small detail, because people do find units on trails,and there is no details on them. Perhaps the same "trick" can be used as another way of adding an emergency contact ( ref. Modders incident)

The above is great, but to avoid the situation I use the little lanyard as well, worth its weight in gold
