Does everybody really hate Jeffsy ?

Hi Chaps,

 

I'm looking for a 29er trail bike, the choices are amazing. I'm considering a Camber, Stumpy, Fuel EX and JEFFSY,

I like the Jeffsy and it offers fantastic value given the spec, but it doesn't appear to be very popular. Does anybody actually ride one on local Cape Town trails? 

This bike will be used on the local Table mountain and Constantia loops and primarily Tokai when it's back online. 

I'm wondering if it's just too much bike for Cape Town style single track and rocky bits. 

 

Is there any love for the Jeffsy in CT?

YT Industries only recently started shipping to SA and you cannot really compare it with the main stream manufacturers, so doubt there will be many.

I bought a Capra a1 and I'm very impressed with the bike. If the jeffsy is anything like the Capra, I would push the button.

Demo'd the Capra and loved it!

It's very similar to the Stumpy, which is possibly the perfect bike for the Western Cape, so, ja, buy the Jeffsy, or the Stumpy.

Send them a message. They have demo bikes available locally (they did over the weekend, at least) and will be able to assist you.

 

From the people that I spoke to on Sunday, who rode it, they loved it.
