Don't stress dude, a bit of fan banter is always fun. (Not that I have picked Sky as my team for the TDF yet)

The Dauphine starts 4 June,

Froome vs:

Contador

Valverde

Bardet

Meintjies

Porte

Chavez

Martin

Aru

It will be a good indication of what's to come in the Tour imho.

Maincheese has been quiet so far this year, but I know he has been training like crazy.

The Dauphine will be a good indicator of his form.

Form is one thing, and as much as I want the dude to do well, I think he suffers from Naairolytis.

And all of them will be going up Alp D'Huez for a summit finish on stage 7.

During the 3rd week of the Tour all the riders who competed in the Giro will have no more legs left. THAT'S A FACT.

Contador...pffft! I have been cycling since 2010, and I have yet to witness the so-called brilliance of Contador.

Maincheese...I will be rooting for him, but I am afraid that once again the winds of the French coastal areas is gonna catch him out, as it always do. And his team does not really back him.

It will be interresting to see how Quintana will perform in the TDF since this was "almost" a winning performance and I wonder if he will have the form come the TDF.

It's a relatively flat TdF, I think.

Have no idea about the TT mileage though. It will be a big factor.

The Giro was 70 kms of TT. Definitely not in Quintana's favour.

He was hoping for a time buffer against the bigger okes. Fell just short.

Suffering badly today with PGWS - Post Giro Withdrawal Syndrome...

I went for a 4 hr ride with lots of climbing.

It took the edge of PGWS. Just a tad though.

Well I suppose Quintana will sleep well know there are only two TT (14 km + 22,5km).

There are 5 Mountain stages.  One before the first rest day, two in the middle and two in the last week.
