Ironically I bought a 120MM 51mm offset, so it 5mm extra to the standard offset.

so it should be ok, It may look a bit weird and one of a kind

 

Don't worry it will definitely look better than a half fork lefty!

You haven't ridden a Pike have you?

 

Try it and you will understand....

I don't for a second doubt the performance or feel of the Pike. I ask because I was under the impression the Pike caters more to the AM/Trail/#enduro orientated rides.

Ergo... RS1 or SID wc for the scalpel SI...

That it certainly does - but you would have been astounded how many of the bigger lads used them at the Epic this year - it's a really good fork, and provided you can manage the small weight penalty, it will work really well for xc/xco - especially for the big boys

at 98KG skinny 100MM forks dont work that well for me

Secret here is they dont actually work as well as a decent 34/35/36 fork for anybody, regardless of their weight :-)
