1 x 11 (11-46 cassette)

Hi all

 

Anyone running this.

 

I know Sunrace got a 11-46 cassette, apparently Shimano also does now.

 

Looking at pairing this with a 36 front Chainring. the 36 front with the 11 in the rear will give nice flat speed, but the 46 at the back for any type of climbing.

Have the Shimano works well.

have 34 at the front but I am old.

You could also consider a 34 oval ring.

 

I am riding the Shimano 11-46 with 34 chainring on a 29er. Gear spacing is better than my previous 11-42 on 1x10 and the steep stuff is a touch easier now. My bike doesn't have chainstay clearance for a 36 or 34 oval unless I compromise the chainline.
