How are my children? After all the problems i had them assessed and was told they are all mentally bewildered so i had to place them in a special home. However let me take the opportunity to respond to your supporting comments on sh*tmaNo The cable on Robbies bike was obv. sh*tmaNo as they ride Dura Space. And a lug coming off the end of a cable is a quality issue and nothing to do with the mechanic. The torque settings on a sh*tmaNo crank bolt is actually, min. 34.5Nm & max 44.2Nm.so if a mechanic used 14-16Nm torque setting as you imply, it's no wonder the crank came off. But then again this is what one would expect from a sh*tmaNo machanic - of which (frompersonalexperience) i have never met one who owns a torque wrench or even knows how to use one The standard they seem to use is "tighten it until it strips and then turn 1 turn back" BTW - welcome to the hub - and please make sure you are up to speed with all the neccassry sh*tmaNo & Campagnolo specs when taking part in these debates. We have a lot of highly knowledgeable people (especially campag people)on the hub
