Starting using a wattbike at our local gym but the instructurs are vary clued up.

How do I save my wattbike session to usb?

I manage to create my profile and save it to my usb but can't save my session to usb.

I just plug my usb in, when I start the session it says initialising usb session.... and the it starts, when I'm done I switch the head unit off and then it says transferring usb session .... I wait until it switches off completely and then remember to take it with you! I use Wattbike Expert to upload it to Training Peaks.

I tried to insert usb, it picks up the USB to my session and when I am done I pres esc and power off but no data is saved only my profile. I don't want to carry my cell phone with. Currently I use my Garmin because I have custom exercises but like to make use of the usb and expert software.

Hmm, that is weird, does it show the transferring session ... screen?

I have found that occasionally my session won't save, so I always use garmin as a back up. It  might be the bike?

I haven't figured out how to get the app to sync my session with training peaks or garmin. It's a pity because the app is cool.

Does it save  the file to the usb at all or is it that the software doesn't pick it up?

Not sure what the difference will be, just curious...

If you can be clear on this, I should be able to tell you what to do...

Generally one of 2 problems:

- USB not activated/activating properly

- Wattbike internal memory is full, so it doesn't have space to record the file while you ride for later transfer to the USB

It picks up the USB showing "Initializing USB" when I plug in my USB stick.

I can access my profile on the USB.

After my workout and shut off the unit it switches off directly.

How do I clean the internal memory?

Off the top of my head:

On the main screen, go to 'Workouts/Tests'

Select 'Past Workouts'

Press the menu button

Scroll to 'Delete all', and press Enter

I'm not 100% sure its all the steps. I'll check it tonight/early morning and update.
