Where can I find A clear plastic sheet ? Want to cut it up and make my own sections for where ever I want my frame to be covered.

Good start.  I got mine there.  They have different thicknesses as well.

Rather expensive, but very tough. I have the clear version, but available in colours

Basically like a gloss frame. I have it on some areas of my new tallboy and it does not bother me at all. Having said that I probably would have preferred a non matt frame. I really do not like the cable rub effect on a matt frame.

 

How does VPS look on a matt frame?

I find that the crank arm protector sheets you buy at the bikeshops just don't stick to the crank arms. I hope this VPS stuff does the job. Will pop in there during the week
