I would like to get my 11 year old son training on the road with me but am not sure if sizing him via his inseam and buying say a 46cm frame will do the job? Are there different sizing factors for kids or is height and inseam all that is necessary? Please advise. Any do's and don'ts?

You can look at the ladies 45cm frames, that should work for him, then as he grows, slam some longer stem on there and away you go. I decided to start mine on the road early as well...

Eugene Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 You need to look for a bike with 650c wheels. They are like hens teeth in SA. If I'm not mistaken, Giant used to import one.
