Barend de Arend Posted January 20, 2017 Share Vets 30+ start at 11:36 Ah, so you can do the USN in the morning, then the TT, and then the road race the next day.
gtr1 Posted January 20, 2017 Share Nothing on TT. They start and riders go off at 1 min intervals. And I believe 5min between age groups. About 100 riders.
Li Mu Bai Posted January 20, 2017 Share Christ. 120km at midday. With no support other than what's in my 2 bottles and in my pockets. Totally opposite from their official notification. Makes no sense.

Frosty Posted January 20, 2017 Share Is this for real?yes - it is. I have mentioned, here, already that it is impossible to fit every group (21 of them) onto the 18km lap circuit. It's also not good to have new group entering the circuit (a right turn) that crosses the route for those heading back to the finish. A normal race has Elite, U23 (and recently the Juniors) in one group. Then 30-39, 40-49, 50+ (all men), Elite and Vet ladies and U16. That's 5 groups and all racing the same distance - most of the time. For provincial/national champs:U11, U13, U15, U17, JuniorsElite, U23, 30-34, 35-3940-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-5960-64, 65+, Paracyclists Now double that for the girls/ladies and you see how groups there are. Sure, some might not have the numbers and groups are therefore combined.
