I thought it was fair game on all the other Sram stuff All SRAM products. SRAM marketing and distribution only wants local retailers to sell the items - it's their new strategy which in my opinion is deemed to fail in such an online world. Everyone will look for back doors like the OP, or for sites who do ship worldwide. Alternatively, everyone will start using Shimano. SRAM aren't doing themselves any favours in a global marketplace.
