Rudi Pollard Posted January 13, 2017 Share Does anybody know where I can buy a seal kit for my RS1 at a decent price?
David Marshall Posted January 13, 2017 Share What is a decent price? I had one delivered in error (ordered a Reverb kit). The retail price was just under R1000.
droo Posted January 13, 2017 Share If you want just the wipers they're around R 200, a full rebuild kit is about R 950. It's a R 35k fork, surely you weren't expecting spares to be cheap?

I never expected it to be cheap but to import the parts will work out at a ridiculous price... I was just wondering where I can source it locally without hassle

Dicky DQ Posted January 13, 2017 Share Shame, the RS1 fork is dead, long live the RS1. Pity for the early adopters, unfortunately the logic and design does not make sense.

Some say it's a lovely thing to ride, others suggest that R 35k might be a bit of a pisstake...

droo Posted January 16, 2017 Share Its an awesome fork to ride, and I didnt pay R35k for mine... This is one case where the early adopters came out ahead. They were a moer of a lot cheaper when they were first released.

Not sure how this is a flawed design, besides the laughable local pricing.
