I must say I prefer a review that's written from first hand like those from Iwan as opposed to the cut and paste done here.Please don't go the Bicycling magazine way where no opinions are expressed and everything is just cut and paste or just a advert paid for by the big corporations.

  • Hub internals are DT Swiss’ reliable and easily-serviceable 240s with the Star Ratchet. The hub system requires no special tools to take apart or service and replacement parts are easy to source.

No special tools required...sure - believe that one when pigs fly.

Have you ever opened a 240 DT?

 

Easy as pie.  And yes.  All done with your hands.  No tools

Same as the 2016 Zipp hubs.

Um yes I have - the freehub body just pulls off with your hands...Have you ever changed the bearings in the HUB tho? - you need a special tool to remove the driveside bearing...unless they have now changed it...?
