Hi All

Would like to know what your preferred tyre is out of curiosity. I know the pro's use this or that because of this and that. But what do you enjoy riding with.

In my preference I love how the Maxxis Ikons ride and the tread pattern is most suited for how I ride as well.

Thanks for highlighting the treads. You do realise that 90% of those "opinions" come from 2012 even after 88 pages of discussions. I am more interested in the thread pattern than the actual make tbh

Read it, then. And they're not "opinions" - they're just opinions. No need for the quotemarks.

And yes, I do realise that. Read it anyway.

So the threads on treads has almost 5 years of history and research through hubbers trying and testing the best of the best.

all of which is still very relevant.

If this reply is anything to go by then there are only probably 5 pages worth of relevant information.

Again this is what you prefer. NOT what is the best.

  so OP did you read the threads?

So I would prefer chin chong tyres because they are cheap. But my bike is fitted with Schwalbe because I prefer to ride with the best I can get as I like my kit non blood soaked...

I struggle to see the point of this poll...

Yea dont worry. I struggle to see the point of this community ...

No question on here don't get a response from at least 2 people having a problem with the question, 4 people just trying to be funny, 1 person at least trying to be a grammar nazi and a few others.

I don't like to beat a dead horse. But you really should read the threads mentioned. The image you posted. Its over a decade old. I found it on a page which dates back to 2006. Much has changed since then. Tyre choices and reasons behind them are discussed at length in the threads previously mentioned. So read them. Its just not as simple as 3 different tyre thread options from only 5 tyre manufacturers. Now. Lets use this thread to discuss things something usefull. Like manscaping. Now personally, when things get out of hand and the jewels are covered in port jackson. I like to get in there and sort things out with a fork. You know. The way one would use it when eating spagetti.
