Route from Centurion to Bronkhorstspruit/baai area

So a friend of mine and me want to hit the road this sunday and have a relaxing ride. I have heard that the road from moreleta park to bronkhorstspruit are is nice. We are looking to head there from centurion (hospital) to the basic region the mtb guys usually go to.

 

Does anyone have a strava route that we can beg that has done this before so we can get all the offroads etc?

a certain bicycling club ride uses one of the highways in the area, hell there is even a strava segment on the highway...

I would go through to Pretoria East on Solomon Mahlangu, then turn right just after crossing N4 highway onto R104

I'm confused, you want to "hit the road" but you want the offroads? Are you looking for a MTB route on mostly district roads? Also, do you want to go all the way to Bronkhorstpruit town itself or just head in that general direction (how far do you want to go)? Lastly, which hospital are you starting at? Unitas?

Try this route. the section moonlight rd up to r25 is a farm road. then from r 25 to r50 you can cycle on the side of the road with ease. mostly farms around there. then there is a farm road after the rayton crossing when you go on r50.  total gravel is about 40-50 km. i have not cycled this route but i have driven a few times in this area. but note it has been about a year since i drove the gravel roads. moonlight rd and r25 section is definitely open.
