Patchelicious Posted February 5, 2017 Share The short answer is, coke. Use the search function on the forum, lots of threads about it. shaper

TomS Posted February 5, 2017 Share CO2 Fire Extinguiser. It shrinks the aluminium and not the carbon. Had the same problem. See you tube video about it
PeterF Posted February 5, 2017 Share The short answer is, coke. Use the search function on the forum, lots of threads about it.This. Seal top of seatpost, turn frame upside down and pour coke into the seat tube. Leave overnight, will probably still require a bit of force but the coke should loosen the corrosive grip. BaGearA Posted February 5, 2017 Share Also clean the next(yes buy a new one) seatpost very well and use carbon paste when inserting into frame. Then also take it out every 2 months and clean well again. You should not have any problems if you stick to that. good luck with the removal. If one of the surfaces is metal (any kind), use grease, if both are carbon, then use fibregrip/carbon paste Patchelicious
