Tada! 1x QR Rear hub completed Both hubs ready to rock Aye-ho! Aye-ho! Off to the bike shop they go! Wheel building time! Skewers are rusted and pretty fubar... Those I'm just going to replace with new chrome ones...

berg_fiets Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 So, skewers and front shifter was bathed in Coca-Cola (Yes as in the soft drink) for 24 hours, rinsed and wiped dry with a cloth. Here are some before and after photos... Viewer discretion is advised for Coke lovers. Note rust on chrome skewers and bolts Like new!
