PhillipP Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Gents and fellow country men!!I have an entry to the Sani2C,(1st time)Two bike options that i can use for the raceMerida 120 Trial 29er and/or Merida 96 XT.Al tough the 120 is heavier with about 2kg,which one will be the better bike for the race.120 is 1x11 and the xt is 2x11Please advise

Which also answers my own 1x11 thoughts ! Did the J2C on a 1x11 (11-36x32) hardtail. (first three days was tough)Rode Push of a Climb all the way to the top (in pouring rain) And I'm no spring chicken anymore, more a senior citizen. I would suggest that you take the 96. More than enough bike.
