I am a beginner road cyclist and would like a group to join.

I live in Burgundy Estate, so ideal would be a group close by to join for week rides and long rides on the weekend.

If not, happy to travel and meet up for rides.

I know you said beginner, but any indication of the average speed you can handle and for what distance?

Hi Jacqueline

You are more than welcome to come and ride with my club during the week or on weekends.

We currently have a few beginners, intermediate and racing snakes in the club.

We are based around Monte Vista, Goodwood, Panorama, Edgemead, Burgundy estate and Parow area.

We are meeting tomorrow for an easy coffee ride of 40-50kms and you are more than welcome to come and join.

Hi Jacqueline  and Hamstring.

I also live in Burgundy Estate and am part of a cycling club based in Edgemead. The club is called City Cycling Club. They meet at BP Edgemead at 6:30am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. They have social, intermediate and racing snake groups. New people are always welcome.

If you want to join tomorrow, maybe come at about 6:20am and ask for Graham or Duncan. They are in charge of the groups. They will introduce you to everyone and ride with you and the group.
