I have owned Camelbaks and currently have the 12l Drafter. Its as good a quality as CB IMO. Mine has been abused  - think several crashes and used for around 2 years. No loose stitching. It comes with a decent bladder but mine failed at the hose mount at the bottome. Some silicone glue has solved that problem. It as rear and bottom outside storage ability and I often carry knee pads out back. Its not bery bulky and has a mesh back to help with sweat build up.

Can vouch for the Osprey as well. I have two now that I alternate with.

Have had Dakine, Camelbak and a few others, but Osprey for the win

Yeah, the drafter is still up the top of the list if I can just find one! Really like the looks of the little things like the organised pockets, dedicated shock pump sleeve, magnetic hose catcher, full face carrier etc and if built like any of my other DK back packs the thing won't die. Ever.

Heard the new ones have back protection build in.
