Fulcrum Racing 7

So, it turns out that I cracked my hub on my rear fulcrum 7.  The hub is going to cost R1,500 to replace.

 

Solomons have a special on the exact wheels, Fulcrum Racing 7 wheelset for R2,499.  It's an Argus special and they are running in until they get rid of the remaining 3 wheelsets they have.  

 

So it's obvious that I would rather buy a new wheelset including warranty for just a grand more.

 

My question, is that a good price for the Fulcrums or is there something else I should be looking at in this price range?

I have been using them for a few years as my regular wheels and they have been bullet proof. Would buy another set in a heartbeat.

No idea of the 7 but I have the Racing 5 set.  Not regretting them one bit.

I bought a set of Racing 7's a number of years back for ± R2k.  My training wheels.  Bullet proof.

 

Bit heavy for racing, but perfect for training.
