Leader Kristof Allegaert has done 4001 in 9 days with 1,000km to go. https://www.indianpacificwheelrace.com/ There are some good videos on youtube about the race and the riders. Race status day 9: Ben Hirons and Eoin withdrew when Eoin hit by a car and ended up in hospital. Imagine being 1,209 km behind the leader in a race. These boys and girls are tough.
