Training routes/options

hi

 

recently moved to the table view area so i'm not sure of the training routes on that side. can anyone help?

 

also, as i work right by the Bellville velodrome, are there any times when roads bikes are allow on there?

go to Cycles Direct they have training groups. but try to avoid Blouberg Rd (lots of taxis.) West Coast Rd has a nice wide shoulder but very busy. re velodrome pm me. i work in B'ville as well and ride every Thurs @ ?4.45pm at the track. bikes are available to hire. we are going to start "novice track classes. just trying to get ducks in a row.

Find out from those in the know about the Van Schoorsdrift and Kalbaskraal roads.Quiet and very hard training routes.Try to avoid the prostitutes if you can..

The Table View based Outriders Cycle Club have rides that leave from the parking lot of LifeCycle/Planet fitness every Saturday and Sunday morning. We also have a good track squad who just recently took several medals in PE. You are more than welcome to join us this weekend and see what we are about.

How much to hire the bikes for the evening?

 

The hire fee is R10. the track is closed for the week and will open again on 2 June till 10 June. i'm trying to find out what size bikes are available (i know 7 mediums are availabe at the moment) so that i can get a CCC "introduction to track cycling" session going. will pm u with details.
